Ass im Strumpf

” This pressphoto shooting at cafe Ritter was fun. With three Kulturnetz-Hernals related artists we travelled back in time, in the golden age. Cafe Ritter, a traditional austrian cafe was chosen as spot for the landing. After spending all the money for fancy parties, they had to get creative to get fresh cash. Sound Performance 60′

” Eine ehemalige Autowerkstatt dient Künstlern und Künstlerinnen als Inspirationquelle für ihre Arbeiten. Die in der Ausstellung gezeigten Arbeiten beschäftigen sich intensiv mit dem temporär vorhandenen Raum. Wände, Decken und Böden werden durch Interventionen, Installationen, Malerei, Projektionen, Objekte und Streetart gestaltet. Kunst an einem Ort, der sich im Durchgang zwischen Aufbruch und Abbruch befindet. ”- by Roman Lechner

Refilling the dead areas with texture

“This motto is true for the concept of the festival and for this photo itself. Initiated as an impuls festival to get out the emptiness and fill up the dead areas and spaces with live thrue culture and art.

The harsh midday sun was killing all the texture in the in highlights and of course the shadows where pitchblack with no life aswell. SO HDRi was the way to go. 3 photos composed together and carefully blended into the final result. A forth and back process with a lot of try and error.” - by Christian Messner
